Upcoming Events and Classes

IN PERSON EVENTS
We have many events upcoming for 2026. These are listed in order of date they will be happening through the year.

Friday, May 1-Sunday, May 3, 2026- We will be hosting a paint and take at The Gaming Hoopla 2026, located at the Baird Center in Milwaukee, 400 W Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53203. This paint and take will feature a bit more in depth instruction but mostly tables for people who love art to come play and be in the hobby with loved ones whether family or found family. 
 

Midwinter Gaming Convention January 14th-January 17th 2027 - We will be hosting a paint and take at Midwinter Gaming Convention, located at the Ingleside in Pewaukee 2810 Golf Rd, Pewaukee, Wisconsin. This paint and take will feature a ton of tables, space, and room for inspiration. 2 lamps at each table for each painter and much more as we are expanding every year due to the support and care of our community. This show is where we got our start, it is near and dear to us.

DIGITAL EVENTS
Tuesday May 5,12,19,&26. This is an online painting class that covers the basics. From paint to water ratio on the brush to mediums, paints, and solvents. This class is for both beginners and seasoned painters alike as anyone will learn something new from this class. Anyone who donates to us during the paint and take at Hoopla will automatically be entered in so long as your email is sent to us.

IN PERSON CLASSES
Guilds & Goblins Location and Dates TBA
Guilds and Goblins is a TTRPG that welcomes every family who can read numbers 1-20 on a d20. There are more intense mechanics as the game progresses, but you can play with or without "skill dice" (quick addition or subtraction). This game is open to children of all ages- although I do ask that parents be involved with their child's play and learn this game right alongside them. 

Mrs.Mina, a homeschool mom of 11 years has run this game for a group of kids in various co-ops. This game will be targeted at all ages.

This game was created by Mr. Eric of What If World, a Podcast that asks crazy "what if" questions. If you have a child struggling with critical thinking, problem solving, creative writing, quick math, and social emotional learning, look no further than here. 


Three Part Miniature Painting Series

Part 1 Magic of True Metallics
Saturday, April 11th from 4–8 PM
Join Mina & Joseph Seid at Oddwillows Game Haven we will start with a miniature that will fail every stealth check you try. Because it is covered in armor! You will learn true metallic techniques and how to paint them. You will be guided every step of the way to create the effects of metallics based on what you would like. All materials provided—$30 class fee pays for supplies as well as local youth to receive art classes for free in rural areas of Wisconsin. 

Part 2 Basing and Terrain
Saturday, May 9th from 4-8pm.
Join Mina & Joseph Seid at Oddwillows Game Haven we will continue with our miniature we painted last month. We will add basing using foam bricks, flocking, grass tufts, and various materials like this. You will learn solid basing techniques and how to incorporate them into your miniature. You will be guided closely every step of the way to create the effects of real terrain based on what you would like. All materials provided—$30 class fee pays for supplies as well as local youth to receive art classes for free in rural areas of Wisconsin. 

Part 3 Bringing it all together.
Saturday June 13 from 4-8pm.
